Come wintertime, Hype Park transforms to the magical world of Winter Wonderland. Last year I went for the first time and the park didn’t disappoint this year. Although it is the sort of place you really have to take your time to queue for food, drinks, attraction and to find the exit… It always gives me such a warm winter feeling and sets the mood perfectly for Christmas.
Our approach this year was slightly different, as we were still very stuffed from our massive brunch at The Breakfast Club so we didn’t actually eat anything at Winter Wonderland. Although the sweet smells of crepes and bradwurst were tempting we really didn’t have enough space to squeeze that in!
My friend suggested a ride in the big Ferris wheel, which seemed like a great idea at the time. What we didn’t realise, however, was that the queue was not long to purchase tickets but there was a massive queue to get on the Ferris wheel. Luckily, there was entertainment provided by Google home, as well as a complementary hot chocolate to keep our hands warm.
Once we finally made it onto the ride, we soon realised that it would be a chilly one! The wind was quite strong, especially that high up in the air and I think my friend and I both realised that we might be slightly scared of heights… It was both beautiful and dreadful, but the view was totally worth it.
With that being said… I would like to wish you all a happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year! I am going to take a little break from blogging and possibly also social media until the second week of January. During this time I will be making some changes to the layout as well as behind the scenes so that justsavxnnah will be better next year!
See you in 2019 lovelies!
Lots of love,
