Tea time with Savannah: mulled wines at The Queen of Hoxton

Guess what time it is, it’s tea time! Only, this time I am once again not talking about actual tea… Today’s topic is much more seasonal and requires you to be of a certain age to drink it. Today, I am talking about mulled wine!

The idea of hot wine always used to sound very appalling to me, this was of course way before I developed a taste for wine. But that is a different thing to discuss all together. Last year at Winter Wonderland I enjoyed a cup of really nice mulled wine, which made me rethink my strong opinion about it.

Last week, I my mind was definitely changed as I had the best mulled wine ever at the Queen of Hoxton rooftop opening event. This particular venue had been on my to-do-list for quite some time as it is a bar, club and rooftop so you literally have almost everything you would need on a night out in the same place.

Rooftop bars are huge in summer, but there are also some that brave the cold in winter. The Queen of Hoxton rooftop has a remodelling twice a year to start the new season: winter or summer. The theme of this winter rooftop is all things French!

If you go on a Wednesday head to the bar around 9pm to participate in the weekly Drag Bingo – it is amazing and the prizes are  pretty decent! It truly makes a great weeknight out!

Lots of love,
