Happiness is definitely something relative, but we tend to only acknowledge the big things that bring us happiness every once in a while. When you start to focus on the smaller things instead, things that happen every day you will be so much happier!
Start with your day-to-day routine, the journey to work or school, the things you eat, the weather, anything really! The walk from my house to the station always seems to be a runway for the cuteeeeeest puppies! They are literally adorable, and instantly put a smile on my face.
At lunch, I like to either bring something nice or buy something I am craving. Not everyday, but often enough to be a habit 🙂 Let’s face it, we are all looking forward to that lunch break anyway, so why not make it a bit better? I also browse the shops during my break, it’s great to strech my legs a bit and very good way to keep up with ‘trends’. But mostly, it inspires me to get creative with what I already have in my closet.
It is the simplest advice ever, but it does make a difference. Think about your daily activities and try to find parts that make you happy. There’s so many things that bring you joy without even noticing it!
