After over a year in London, I finally made it up the iconic London Eye! Why did it take me so long, is a question I kept asking myself! I was really surprised when I found out that the meeting point for the Megabus Secret event was more than just a meeting point!
You might know Megabus from their affordable coach journeys across the country. Last year I went to Cardiff, and although the journey was about 4 hours, it was such a comfortable experience.
As of today, you can purchase tickets starting from as cheap as £1 to go on their brand new Megasightseeing service through central London. It is an open tourbus experience that shows you all the sights within 2 hours. After our experience on the London Eye, we actually hopped on the bus and did the full tour ourselves!
There will be multiple pick-up points as it is a non-stop service, which makes it so much more accessible. The tour is interestingly mostly aimed at domestic tourists, as locals are less likely to splurge on a sightseeing tour that on average costs £20. With these lower prices, families and locals will have the same incredible experience without spending a fortune.
When I say a tour of London, I mean a tour of London! You literally pass all the major sights, and you might spot some lovely restaurants and pubs along the way. It is such a quick and comfortable way to see the city, and gives you so much more time to explore other parts of London.
To book your ticket visit Megabus’s website.
*I was kindly invited to the launch of the new Megabus service but all opinions are my own.
Lots of love,
