Oh the tea-lengthdress, by many associated with professional and older women. Wrongly so, as
last summer and again this autumn, fashion experts have seemed to grow very
keen on this modest dress. And here’s why.

Honestly, what is not to love about this modest dress? It is the
perfect transitioning item towards the ending of summer and beginning of
autumn. Goodbye, never-ending debate on whether or not it is acceptable to
start wearing tights. Just wear a long-sleevednumber like the picture above, throw on a leather jacket or a trench coat,
pair with chunky boots or go for the latest trend and pair with over-the-knee
boots and you are good to go!
In summer, these dresses are also perfect if you are living in a
milder climate. If the weather is not very consistent with the tropical
temperatures, a tea-length dress is the perfect alternative to still wear
dresses without risking any unwanted UTIs.
Even if the weather is not your main concern, these modest dresses
are perfect for when you skipped shaving/waxing day. One of my biggest issueswith summer is the constant hair-removal. With a longer hemline you can
definitely get away with the 5 ‘o’clock shade or those little bastards that
always seem to grow back two weeks after your wax!
