Words will not bring across the excitement of this brilliant, brilliant day! On Sunday the 2nd of July, I went to the British Summertime Festival at Hyde Park, and here is what happened…
We were so lucky with the weather, although it was only about 23 degrees Celsius, it was so hot (but still bearable). The sky was beautifully clear and we watched the sunset all while enjoying live performances from Anne-Marie, Tove Lo, Martin Garrix (with a surprise performance from Dua Lipa) and Justin Bieber.

As soon a we arrived, we did a quick round exploring the different food trucks and bars. We took the necessary selfies, Boomerangs and Insta Stories before messing up our hair and make-up. This quick round took us a bit longer than expected, as a ‘small’ part of Hyde Park was set up for the festival. Little did we know that even a small part of the park would still be massive!
We stopped a couple of times to admire a carnival-like parade and we just had to ride the carousel! What is a festival without thorough planning right? So, to avoid leaving the stage between Martin Garrix and Justin Bieber, we decided it was best to go for an early dinner, to avoid the crowd during actual dinner time. We enjoyed some delicious burgers and fries, which I am still dreaming of today!
We had an amazing time and ended with a great finale!
