London Photo Diary Part I

London, you
have my heart! Now that I’ve been to the city twice, I can definitely tell you
that London is my favourite place in the world. Not that I’ve been to many
places, but I love everything about this city, the people, the ambience, the
language and the culture everything.

As I’ve
already been before, there was no need to do all the sightseeing again. We spent most of our time wandering
around neighbourhoods, taking in the lovely sights and simply enjoying our time
in the city. I might have to add our little secret; we went to a One Direction
concert at Wembley stadium. Yes, I flew to London to see them two years in a row. I have no regrets.

We stayed
in a beautiful flat literally next to the London Eye. The location was so
central that we could easily walk everywhere, however we seemed to get lost
quite too many times and ended up taking the tube to the right destination.

Since we
basically had no plans, other than attending the concert, we could really relax
and enjoy the city. This lead to us randomly seeing the change of the guards twice and some other well-known places
such as Marble Arch and Carnaby Street.

Since words
cannot describe how much fun we had during our little stay, I decided to share
a photo diary on the blog. Although the pictures aren’t nearly as beautiful
compared to how things look in real life, they give you a better image of my
stay in London.

What is a
city trip without a little drama, right? As if it wasn’t scary enough that this
was in fact our first ever holiday alone, without parents or teachers etc. our
flight back to Amsterdam got cancelled. We only got to know this terrifying
news a few hours before we wanted go back to the flat to get our suitcases. No
worries, after a few cries right in the middle of Oxford Street we got
everything sorted out and flew back a day later. We had a lovely extra evening
and an experiences I’m sure none of us will ever forget!

Until the
next time London!

Lots of
