9 Hours in London

London, oh London how much I love you. It is always such a pleasure to be in this beautiful city, somehow London loves my presence as well since it is always such great weather whenever I'm there. This time it was even more obvious, the weather was lovely all day long until the very moment we got back on the buss, then all of a sudden it started to rain! Don't worry London, I'll be back soon!

As lovely as this visit was it was a very short one, which is pretty sad. We went to Calais by buss, to board on a boat to Dover to drive to London. A very exhausting journey indeed, but the 8 hours we had in London were totally worth it.

First we had an amazing English breakfast in a restaurant that looked like it came straight out of The Great Gatsby then we were off to Covent Garden, which was the first time for me. My oh my did we go crazy on that market! I nearly spent all my money right there! They have some lovely vintage items on sale it really is the place to be to find rare items. Afterwards we were off to Camden to explore the shops there, they have such an amazing all grunge H&M with an exclusive collection. Of course we went and enjoyed the lovely street food they offer in Camden, completely stuffed we continued our trip to see the famous platform 9 & 3/4. Being the Harry Potter fan I am that fan store was my little heaven on earth, a place where I really had to keep my sanity in order not to buy any of the wands... Because really, what am I going to do with a wand?!

Three hours left until we had to go back to the buss, we finally made it to Carnaby and Oxford street. Spent all of our money there, left a pound or 10 for some food for our way back and said our goodbyes to the lovely London. The journey back was much more pleasant since I was way too exhausted to stay awake.

Until next time London!

Lots of Love,
