Red Lipstick Edition

As a true lipstick lover I always appreciate a good, classy red. It is my go-to colour when it comes to lipsticks. It surprises me, however, that I only have 5. I honestly thought I have plenty more red shades in my collection. Maybe this is the exact reason why I always try to not buy any...

Kiko is always a favourite of mine, especially with their lipsticks and nail polishes. They have so many different shades to choose from that it gets pretty hard to pick just one... This one is more of a true red I would say. Not matte not shiny, just moisturising and perfect!

This one was my first luxurious lipstick ever! It's definitely more on the wine-red side, but that makes it one of my favourites to wear during the autumn/winter time. Once again a long-lasting, moisturising formula that barely needs reapplying.

This is probably one of my first lipsticks ever. It's from some 1 euro brand in the drugstore that had pretty good looking lipsticks. To be honest, this is a pretty good one considering that it only cost me a euro! I hardly ever wear it nowadays, but I used to love this one back in the day. Although you really had to reapply your lipstick every now and then, the formula was pretty awesome.

Another one of Kiko's dreamy formulas... This one is more on the darker side, which is definitely a 'me' colour. I somehow always seem to feel better when wearing darker lipsticks? I wear this one a lot too.

Last but certainly not least, in fact this is my most worn lipstick ever, a Rimmel by Kate Moss shade. Matte, still moisturising and ever so long-lasting. Seriously this one will not come off after a sandwich. It's not a true red, but it is hardly a wine colour. A perfect in between shade for when you don't know what to put on the lips. For only 7 euros (I believe) you really can't go wrong with this one.

Lots of Love,

Savannah

  4. I should definitely invest in a good, trusty red lipstick. I always try and wear it but I feel like my lips are paper thin and I look like the matchmaker from Mulan. Plus it gets EVERYWHERE. I'm not blessed with lipstick-wearing skills as you are :P
Anyways, thank you for your lovely comment on my blog! :)

    1. So sad to hear that you're experiencing this with lipsticks! Maybe a (nude) lipliner will help keep the lipstick in place and they also do wonders with making lips fuller I hear! xoxo
