Oh Ed, you put on quite the show in Amsterdam. At one point he was jamming his guitar so intensely that he literally broke the sound system, after the problem was fixed he came back on stage and performed the song again. Yep, that's Ed Sheeran ladies and gents.
Honestly I'm still quite in a trance from the concert, words, videos and photos will not do justice. If you ever have the chance to see Ed live, I encourage you to go! The way he manages to sing sad songs in a happy and uplifting way is so special to me. At one point things got a bit emotional (at least for me) when he specially changed the setlist "to sing the song he wrote about Amsterdam, in Amsterdam". (aka The sound track of The Fault in Our Stars)
I have never experienced anything quite like him before, and that is coming from someone who's been to plenty concerts before. However, none of them will ever come anywhere close to what Ed did on that stage.
Most importantly, in my opinion, it was all just Ed. Ed, a dozen guitars and an entire system he had at the bottom of his feet. He would record his back-up vocals, his guitar chords right then and there to eventually start performing the song. With just one tap of his feet he could build a song up or down, he ' drummed' on his guitar and he rapped.
You are the definition of a musician Ed.
Lots of Love,
