Beauty: The Body Shop Sets

You might wonder; 'Why did she only buy minis?' Well, I didn't! I got these two sets, as well as a whole lot of other lovely gifts, for my birthday! Since my birthday was all the way back on the 2nd of March, I'm not doing a post covering all the presents I got (which were mostly money and gift cards). However, I did want to show you these two The Body Shop sets I got. The first one is the vitamin E facial treatment and the second one is a pink grapefruit in-shower and body care set.

Oh my, I was so happy when I unwrapped these gifts! I literally wanted to go to The Body Shop with my birthday money to buy the vitamin E collection! My friends know me too well! I've got to say, I'm a fan! The make-up remover is really good, better than the drugstore one I normally use. Then we have the toner, which is really refreshing in a way. I've never used a toner before and honestly I'm not sure what it's supposed to do, the bottle says that it helps your moisturiser to sink in better. Whatever it does, I like it! Also, there is a mini day and night cream. The night cream I love, the day cream not so much. I find that the day cream is not hydrating enough for my skin, since I have really dry skin. It leaves my face feeling a bit dry even after applying quite a lot of the cream. Which is weird really, since the night cream seems to be hydrating enough. Nevertheless, I'm pretty impressed by this range and I'm definitely going to buy the full bottles as soon as I run out!

The pink grapefruit set, oh my, can we just take a moment for its scent. Oh my goodness this range smells so freaking delicious! I literally want to eat it all. I know, I know, I can't possibly do that. Anyhow, all jokes aside I really love this range as well. The sponge is really soft, soaks up the soap pretty well and look at the colour! It's perfect! About the soap, it's really foamy and not drying at all. Since I have really dry skin I have to deal with eczema so I usually have trouble with using soap. However, this one seems to be kind to my skin. There's also a little scrub, which, just like all the products, smells so good and leaves your skin as soft as ever. Alright, don't judge me, but this was actually the first body butters I've tried... Somehow, I've tried all the products except for the body butter. It might be because of my skin issues that I'm just still scared to try different things.. Whatever it is, I regret not trying them sooner. This body butter is so so soft and hydrating. It sinks in really quick and leaves your skin as soft as ever. And yes, you smell like a grapefruit all day long. I love it
