Working out

Since I've got more spare time, I started working out!
It feels so great to challenge your body.
Maybe I'll feel more comfortable on the beach this year...
Anyway, I am totally in love with Cassey Ho from!
She's such an inspiration to me and she really motivates me, which is hard!
Hahahahaha :p
Also, my timing couldn't have been better.
Primark just introduced us to a great workout collection!
What's not to like about fashionable and cheap workout clothes right?
Seems like I am out of excuses not to workout...
That's why I already bought myself a crop top.
Next week I am going to buy leggings, a yoga mat and not to forget some trainers.
Wearing lovely clothes makes working out even better!
We've got to keep it fashionable at all times.

Outfit: Colour blocking

Can I get a HELL YEAH? Because my exam week is over!
From now on it's only about the final exams.
On one hand I am excited to go to a new school, but on the other hand I am also scared.
I've got no idea what to expect from college, I might not even get accepted at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute...
That would be pretty awful since I don't have an alternative yet.
Usually I've got everything sorted out, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
It seems like the closer my future is coming, the more confused I get.
Somehow the confidence I used to have in my plans is less strong.
I guess this is what it feels like to grow up and be an adult?
Making choices isn't as easy as it was before.
As long as I keep thinking things through, I am sure I'll make the right decisions.
Anyhow, this is what I wore to take my last exam.
Some bright colours were the only cures to cheer me up (except from chocolate),
and get me in the mood to give it my all!

Wish List: Topshop

Lace panel shell top - 39 euros

Earlier this week I've told you about my latest obsession.
Here's what I'd love to buy from!
Since my payday is coming closer and closer, I really have to figure out what to buy!
In other words; I don't have enough money to buy everything...
To be honest with you, this was really hard for me.
How could I possibly think about buying these lovely dresses, when it's still so cold outside!
Seems like this year's spring won't be so hot at all...
Maybe I should buy some more sweaters, since I'm running out of my winter wardrobe.
Hopefully we'll get those hot days soon!
These clothes will definitely bring me in the summer mood anyway.

Red and Leopard

This really has to be a classic combination.
Red and leopard can be tricky though.
You don't want to look a bit trashy do you!
Seems like we're going to see this duo a lot this summer.
And I honestly can't wait!
Too bad the fight between spring and winter seems to get worse every day.
It even feels like I am starting to get really sick..
Let's hope I'll feel better soon, so I can enjoy watching the spring trends!

Look Of The Day: My London Beanie

Do you know why I bought this beanie?
The awnser is not just becasue I liked it.
I was so extremely cold in London that I had to buy it!
Seriously, this beanie saved my life.
Well it kept me warm enough to last a few more hours.
Anyway, this is just a casual outfit for a Sunday.
These two weeks are going to kill me..
I just had my first two exams, they went quite good I think.
Whish me luck! I need it...

Whish List:

ASOS hometown heeled sandals 51.94 euros

Lately, I've been checking the online stores a lot.
I love online shopping, to me it's really relaxing!
Don't worry, I'm not spending all my money.
Not at all!
I just save everything I like,
I try to buy whatever stays on the saved list long enough for me to save te money.
Here's what I might buy at
This webshop is really going to make me broke!
What do you think?
Are these items worth spending my money on?

I Make My Own Sunshine

Somehow, I just couldn't wait any longer to bring this beautiful satchel with me!
That bright yellow is just so tempting!
It really makes me long summer so badly.
So I decided to completely ignore the fact that this weather is nothing like summer.
Also, I had to ignore the fact that my school things don't fit in this satchel.
What can I say... YOLO perhaps?
Sometimes you've got to do whatever you feel like doing!
As long as it's legal though....

A Flower Girl

What's better than a girly look on a snowy day?
Maybe a girly look on a summer day....
Anyway, since spring and winter are on this huge fight,
I decided to remain neutral by wearing a sweater with a floral shirt.
Someone has got to save the peace, right?
Lets just hope this battle won't continue for a long time.
This weather is like a flu magnet!
Hopefully, I won't get sick during my exam weeks...
I am freaking out just a little bit.
But every thing is going to be OK, trust me.

Look Of The Day: Glitter and Tweed

Lately I am really in to these tweed jackets!
Seems like they conquered the blazer's spot on my list of favorites.
I can't really explain why I like tweed jackets so much.
Somehow they're so classy, but more casual at the same time.
Anyway, don't you just love this glittered tweed jacket?
I bought it at Primark in Oxford street, for only 10 pound!
You gotta love Primark :)
Can't wait to go back to London to shop some more!
First, I'll have to save money though...

Look Of The Day: Tweed Jacket

This is my new favorite jacket, I swear!
Don't you just love it?
For me, it was love at first sight.
Also, I had so much luck with this jacket.
It was the last one and it was my size.
Totally ment to be right?
We're gonna live happily ever after!
No I am just kidding, but how coincidental right?
Never doubt faith, lol!

Lifestyle: More Space

Lately I've been blogging a few 'New In' posts..
In other words: I've been shopping a lot!!
Right now, its seems like I don't have enough space for everything!
There are two things I could do:
I could stop buying so many clothes/accessories, or I could create more space.
Number two is exactly what I am going to do.
My room isn't really that big, my closet nearly takes all the space.
Right after my last exam week I am going to start my room make-over!
First, I am going to buy a new bed which will be a bit smaller (I need more space remember)
Then I am going to create my room into a semi-walk in closet!
Semi, because I've also got to sleep and study in my room..

I will show you the before and after when it's done.
Here are some pictures of how many clothes I've got.....
Don't judge me, please!

New In: It Arrived!

Earlier this week I told you I ordered a neon yellow satchel for my birthday.
Well, it arrived!
My goodness, I am so in love with this satchel!
The colour is amazing, it's really bright but not too bright it hurts your eyes.
Seriously, I can't wait to carry this lovely satchel with me.
Hopefully, I won't be needing my enormous school bag anymore.
So I can replace it with the latest love of my life!
Genuinely, this was such a good birthday gift!

Casual Friday

Oh how I love Fridays.
Unfortunately, last Friday was the beginning of a little hell.
In exactly one week, I've got my last school exams.
After those two weeks school won't be the same anymore.
We're only going to focus on our final exams.
I can't believe I am almost graduating high school.
Anyway, this was my ''casual for a Friday'' look!
It's a little bit rock chick-ish, but it definitively suited the weather.
The sky is grey again... Just like my outfit!
Seems like spring isn't ready to arrive yet.

Look Of The Day: Peplum

This peplum top has stole my heart.
Everything about this top is simple, but yet so special.
I love peplum, you already know that.
The graphic pattern is pretty amazing too, not to forget it's the latest trend!
I have been searching for a long sleeve black peplum top for quite a while now.
Who knew I would find one on the other side of the sea, in London?
Don't you just hate the fact that you always see lovely short sleeve tops everywhere?
I think it's quite annoying, because I have to wear a blazer or something over it,
since it's always cold here in The Netherlands.
That's why I really try to buy as many long sleeves as I can.
It's just not that easy though!
Sometimes I just let myself go and I buy whatever I think is lovely.
I don't have to tell you that I buy a lot of short sleeves during those shopping sprees...
The consequence, I will have to be creative with combining those short sleeves.
What can I say, I just love keeping my mind active.

Look Of The Day: Here they are again

Do you know how many times I've worn these shorts?
Even I can't keep up with this!
Honestly, I had no idea I would be wearing these shorts so often.
I bought them just because I couldn't seem to find the denim version.
Finally, these black shorts caught my eye and I figured they would do justice.
A few months after I bought this black pair, I found the denim ones on sale!
Too bad I don't wear them so often right?
Somehow black just gives that extra ''something'' to a look.
I can't explain, maybe it's also just because of the weather?
Black shorts look better with tights than denim shorts, after all.
Seems like what we're looking for doesn't always have to be the best option.

Thursday, 7 March 2013

Finally we've had some nice weather!
The sun was shining, but most importantly it wasn't cold at all!
Seems like spring if finally arriving.
Even if it isn't, the stores are already showing off their latest spring collections.
I really love the contrast between the black and white and the colorful trend!
I saw some amazing patterns, this summer is going to be a great one!
Seriously, my patience is running out...
Why can't summer arrive right now?
Guess I've got to ask that question to the weatherman, not you hahaha  :p
Anyway I couldn't find anyone to take pictures for me,
so I decided to do it myself!
Hopefully you'll get a clear image of what I wore..

Look Of The Day: To The Concert!

Here are some quick pictures we took after the concert in our hotel.
The concert took so much longer than I expected!
The doors opened at 12.30, I thought the concert would take 2 hours...
I was so, so wrong!
First we had two special guests, which is really amazing!
After the special guests, there was a 2 hour show by One Direction :)
We walked out of the venue at 16.30 or something like that.
Since my mum and I only had breakfast, we went to Wasabi, a sushi restaurant at The O2.
As soon as we got to the hotel it was already dark!!
Honestly, I love how the concert wasn't just 2 hours like I expected.
Saying I've had an amazing day wouldn't do any justice!
Too bad we can't rewind certain moments of our life, right?
Anyway, this was my outfit.
Hopefully you can see it properly.

A Little Gift

Somehow I completely forgot to write about my birthday!
Last Saturday it was my 17th birthday!
I didn't really celebrate it, I went to a restaurant with my family.
Actually, I did celebrate!
Last week in London, that was my birthday gift.
You already know I've had an amazing time.
Though, I decided to treat myself a little bit more.
That's why I ordered this lovely satchel at Asos!
Don't you just love this neon yellow?
I am in love with these satchels!
They're are so cute, and perfect for spring/summer.
Can't wait for it to arrive!

Look Of The Day: It was cold in London

I thought this would be the perfect outfit for a long day.
First, we had to get up early to go to the airport.
The flight to London is so short! You literally fly for 25 minutes!
Once we arrived in London, we immediately began our sightseeing.
We managed to see everything we wanted, which was quite surprising by the cold.
Seems like this outfit wasn't that perfect after all.
A t-shirt and a knitted cardigan didn't keep me warm enough, unfortunately.
That's why these pictures aren't that good.
I just couldn't take off my coat, it was too cold!
Luckily I brought my sweaters with me.
They kept me warm enough!

London: The Concert

Ok. After this post I will show you some London outfits, don't worry!
I just really wanted to share my experiences here on the blog.
You probably already knew I went to London for a One Direction concert.
This was the second concert I've ever been to!
My first concert was in Amsterdam (Heineken Music Hall), I went to see Rihanna.
The O2 Arena is HUGE, seriously I've never seen anything like it before!
Even a football stadium is smaller I think!
Of course, there were loads and loads of fans.
We had to stand in the longest queue ever, before we could enter the Arena.
Luckily, everything went very fast.

I was completely in shock by the size of the venue.
Don't let me start about the acoustical quality!
Calling the quality wonderful would be an understatement.
Yes, I will definitely return to The O2 Arena for a concert!

One Direction gave a fabulous first show!
They're even better live and the audience was amazing.
I've had such a wonderful time, I really wish I could go to their concert here in Amsterdam!
Too bad it was sold out already!
Here are some pictures I took during the concert.
Please bear with my awful photography skills.
Taking pictures is not such a good idea while dancing and singing along.

NEW IN: London Shopping

So this post is quite awkward for me, since I promised not to buy a lot in London.
Everything went just fine, until I went to Oxford street.
I remember asking a girl with a Mango bag where Oxford street is.
We wanted to know for the next day, she told me I was going to love it.
No dear, I didn't love it.
Oxford street may be considered as my heaven on earth!

Sunday and Monday were completely dedicated to shop.
First we went to all the cheaper stores like Primark and Forever 21.
Don't get me wrong, they were amazing, but they didn't ''wow'' me.
I didn't spend a lot of money, not the amount I am used to spending on holidays.
So I told my mum; ''I've changed too many euros to pounds!
How am I ever going to spend my money?''
Take this advice from me: don't ever say that before you've seen every store.
*Uhm* so Monday we started at River Island.
Gosh... I love that store!!
Somehow I've got a smaller size in the UK (I love it!)
Anyway, the one and only Rihanna will be in the exact same store I was next Monday!
I just couldn't believe it!
Imagine the chaos in Oxford street when she's there!
It's already so crowded!

Please don't let me waste your time on how much I adore Topshop.
While shopping in Barcelona I always had a look in Topshop.
I just didn't really like that store and the collections.
Now I know why!
Jeeeeez, the Topshops in London are even bigger than huge!
They've got an endless collection!
Not even half of it is represented at the store in Barcelona.
Fun fact: I had to use my "emergency money'' for my trip to London,
to pay for the clothes I bought in Topshop.

You can't blame a fashionista for doing that right?
Seeing beautiful clothes at the last minute, is an emergency!

London 2013

Finally, I've got the energy to blog about my city trip to London!
Remember how much I love Barcelona?
I love London almost as much!
The only thing that keeps Barcelona on top is the weather...
I can't complain though, we've had no rain at all!
Just a little bit snow, that's all!

London is huge, there's so much more I need to see.
A long weekend wasn't enough.
That's a great excuse to go back, right!
Somehow I really felt like I was home in London.
I could see myself living there for sure.

Here are some high lights from my trip!
There is also a ''New In" post coming up.
The stores in London are insane!
Seriously, I've never seen anything like it!
Every shop is huge, with a very vast collection.
I've got to admit, everyone says London is so expensive,
but I don't really get why they say that?
In my opinion nothing was too expensive.
(Except for the afternoon tea in Harrods)
Besides the ''New In'' post there's also a post about the concert coming up!

One last thing;
the people in London are so stylish!
London really has it's own style and I love it!
I am really inspired by the ''London style''.
Also, I've got two new favorite shops: Topshop and River Island!
You will read about my experience with them in the New In post!
