DIY: Cutting a tanktop

Yesterday I decided to do my first ever DIY!
I hope you like the idea!
I'll try to do DIY's more often.

I bought an I <3 Salamanca t-shirt in Spain,
but those shirts are always way too big.
I looked on the internet for some fun ideas.
So many people cut their t-shirts!
I really wanted to try it myself!

Cutting a t-shirt is actually very easy,
all you need is a pair of scissors and a pen!

Step 1: Mark your starting point.
Make sure you measure before you start cutting!

Step 2: Cut off the collar.
I cut 4 cm from the collar because I don't an off-shoulder tanktop.

Step 3: Stretch the fabric.
If you strech the fabric it curls,
so you don't have to worry about the fraying.

Step 4: Cut off the sleeve.
Don't forget to measure first!
It's very easy, just start at the shoulder and go all the way to the armpit.
Strech after cutting.

Step 5: Cut off the bottom.
This t-shirt is also very long, so I cut off the bottom a bit.
I kinda cut it in a half circle, because I like the effect it gives.
Don't forget to strech!

And voilĂ , your selfmade tanktop!
Do you like the result?
